Job Opportunities In New Jersey: Full-time and part-time cognitive rehabilitation therapists needed to provide one-to-one cognitive rehabilitation therapy and other community re-entry services to persons with brain injuries in clients' home and communities. Responsibilities include: Developing individualized program plans to improve the client's functional capabilities in one or more of the following domains: self-care, household management, community mobility, educational activities, vocational activities, parenting, and community involvement. Implementing treatment plans and providing ongoing assessment of the individual's progress and needs. Interfacing with family members, other providers, and case managers. Encouraging the participation of the client in community activities, to promote improved psychosocial behavior and/or cognitive-communication skills and vocational performance. Preparing daily notes and monthly progress reports. Positions are available in Southern and Northern New Jersey. A master's degree, licensure/certification, and experience in brain injury rehabilitation are preferred. A car is required.
